Support the Red Knots
Starting January 1, 2026, my training and expeditions will accrue over 10,000 miles through swimming, biking, and running. Every mile covered and every 25 yards swum until mid-2028 fuels this fundraiser.
Contributing is easy: pick a pledge rate of 1¢, 5¢, or 10¢ per unit.
Our suggested pledge is 5¢.
No funds are collected now. Once I finish the 2028 journey through Red Knot flyways to the Canadian Arctic, final totals will set your donation.

These figures are estimates to aid your planning. 100% of all pledged donations go directly to participating tax-exempt nonprofit conservation organizations focused on Red Knots and their habitats.
I personally fund 100% of my own travel, equipment, and expedition costs, ensuring your gift is never used for my expenses. In 2028, I will travel to key locations along the Red Knot migration route from Chile to the Canadian Arctic to complete the final stages of this 10,000-mile mission.

Pledge for the Red Knots
Between January 2026 and mid-2028, I will accumulate over 10,000 miles of swimming, cycling, and running. This effort culminates in a 2028 journey visiting vital Red Knot habitats from Chile to the Canadian Arctic. Every mile and every 25-yard swim counts.
Select your pledge level: 1¢, 5¢ or 10¢ per unit. We recommend 5¢.
Payments are not due until the conclusion of the final Arctic stage, when totals are verified and sent to our conservation partners.
Estimates are based on the goal of 10,000+ cumulative miles; actual amounts will vary based on final recorded activity through 2028.
I verify that this is a pledge for the Red Knots, with 100% of the final amount going to conservation nonprofits after the 2028 Arctic stage is finished.
